Typello Privacy Policy

Typello is a typing game made by Studio Kapit ("we", "us"). We built it for kids and teens, so we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens with information when you play Typello.

The short version

• No accounts, no names, no email addresses, no chat.
• Your progress is saved on your device. On iPhone, a copy is also saved in your private iCloud account so your progress and purchases can move to a new iPhone. We cannot access that copy.
• The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Players who say they are under 16 only get ads that are not personalized and not based on their activity.
• Optional purchases include removing ads between levels, coins, skins, sounds, a starter pack, and a bundle of ad removal and coins. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google.

Saved data and iCloud

Typello saves your progress, coins, collected words, settings, purchase information, and the month and year of birth you enter when you start. This information is saved on your device. On iPhone, a copy is also saved in your private iCloud account so your progress and purchases can move to a new iPhone. We cannot see your saved data or access your private iCloud copy. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete the copy in iCloud.

Your age

When you first open Typello, we ask for your month and year of birth. The game uses this information to determine whether you are under 16 and which advertising treatment applies. Your month and year of birth are saved as described above; they are not sent to Studio Kapit. Players under 16 receive child-directed treatment. Only players aged 16 and older are asked about personalized ads.

Ads

Typello shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information from your device, such as its IP address, device type, operating system, and, only where allowed, an advertising identifier.

• Under 16: we tell Google to treat the request as child-directed. These players see only non-personalized ads, rated for general audiences, and no advertising identifier is used for tracking.
• 16 and older: ads may be personalized only if you agree. On iPhone, the system asks you whether to allow tracking. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent first. You can change this choice at any time in the game's Settings, under Privacy choices.

In-app purchases

You can buy ad removal, coins, skins, sounds, a starter pack, and a bundle that combines ad removal with coins. Ad removal turns off the ads shown between levels. The optional “Watch ad · 2× coins” button remains available.

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. We receive confirmation of the purchase so the game can provide the purchased items or features. Children and teens should get permission from a parent or responsible adult before making any purchase.

Emails to support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed. Please do not send personal information about a child.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Typello has no accounts, no chat and no way for players to share information with others. If you are a parent and believe your child sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with anyone except as described above (Google AdMob for ads, Apple or Google for purchases, and Apple iCloud for the private copy of saved data on iPhone).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to its use. Your saved game data is held on your device and, on iPhone, in your private iCloud account. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete the iCloud copy. We cannot access or delete your private iCloud data for you. For information you have sent directly to us, such as support emails, contact us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the game.
